Universities In Dialogue

South African universities have historically faced challenges such as insufficient funding, limited access and a shortage of skills. In an attempt to address these issues, some institutions began exploring alternate methods of delivery in an attempt to mitigate these challenges.

The digital space has been identified as the ideal platform from which to operate, particularly in light of the way in which the coronavirus pandemic has changed people’s lives.

Universities in Dialogue, hosted by GEWAL, was conceptualised as a knowledge-sharing platform between South African universities. It aims to consider pathways for building shared prosperity by bringing together the different aspects and experiences in the higher education landscape.
