  • To maximise resources, we do not contribute to areas where other organisations, foundations or government programmes are much better positioned or placed to assist.

  • The Motsepe Foundation identifies and/or initiates the development and upliftment projects that it funds. We are currently not accepting proposals.

  • For Community Development projects, the Motsepe Foundation works with schools and churches across 26 underserved districts.

  • Within these districts, donations for infrastructure are selected based on strict criteria including population size and academic results to magnify the impact of development projects.

  • The Motsepe Foundation, together with its Trustees, identifies and/or initiates the development and upliftment projects that it funds. We are currently not accepting proposals.

  • The Motsepe Foundation’s annual Golden Circle is hosted in conjunction with the Information & Opportunities Youth Expo and provides a platform for young entrepreneurs.

  • The Golden Circle is an open call for entrepreneurs (under 35-years) to pitch their companies/ start-ups to various judges to stand a chance to win a cash injection and other business support.
